How it works

A daily sample, with no net.

Samplix turns sampling into a repeatable, reproducible operation — no manual dipping, no operator-to-operator drift.

Surface navigation.

Samplix follows pre-defined or adaptive paths across the pen, holding station gently against drift.

SONAR detection.

An onboard transducer scans the water column. Fish targets are detected, segmented and tracked frame-by-frame.

Size distribution.

Length and biomass distributions are computed automatically and exported with timestamps and pen IDs.

Built for the

Under the float: a forward-facing sonar dome, a compact electric thruster for station-keeping, and discrete ballast points that hold trim across changing loads — quiet enough not to spook the stock.
